About

Shane is a multidisciplinary audio professional working across music, sound, tech, and interactive media. His creative work centres around building worlds through song, story, collaboration, and imagination. Shane is producing records, developing games with small teams, engineering live shows, and performing live music. In all he does, he is driven by a desire to connect people through shared artistic experience.

Shane is a songwriter and musician, best known through performing with Derrival, Morning Show, and Xana. He has collaborated on indie games during jams and sprints, often contributing sound design and compositions. As a tabletop game master and indie game developer, he creates fictional worlds that invite others to co-author the experience. He’s led narrative-driven RPG events at conventions and charity fundraisers. He embraces ethical technology as a tool for sculpting sonic environments, creating innovative audio workflows, or experimenting with interactive design. He finds joy in merging technical craft and artistic vision.

Shane sings with award winning Vancouver-based choir Kôr, part of Gracenote Vancouver Choral Association family. This act of collective music-making is the culmination of everything Shane does: co-creation, emotional resonance, and community.

The spirit of community and connection is central to his work in the studio as well, where he supports artists through thoughtful arrangement, mixing, and production for their songs. Shane is always learning, always collaborating, and always working to build creative ecosystems where people feel seen, heard, and inspired.

Outside of the studio, I’m eating gluten-free treats, singing with my partner in our choir “Kôr”, and taking my friends on wild adventures as the DM for our home D&D game.
